Adding a Single New User

How to add a single new user.

  1. To onboard a single user at once, click Onboard Users in the top navigation.

  2. Click the Onboard Type drop-down menu and select Add Local Users.

  3. Complete all required fields (First Name, Last Name, User ID, Password, and Employment Type). The user ID is the email address of the new user. You can automatically generate a password for the user, or specify a password. Select Email the password to the Admin to receive the invitation username and temporary password, and input any additional emails to receive the temporary password, e.g., the user's manager.

    Note: to associate a group with a user, an asset or policy group must already be created. To learn how to create an asset group, read the documentation Creating Asset Groups.

  4. Select Submit and wait for the confirmation, Successfully Added User. You can now Add a Policy for this user, or Add Another User.
