Elisity Careers
Content Marketing Manager
Location: Remote, United States
You would be writing for the people securing users, devices, workloads and AI agents. CISOs and security architects deciding who and what should be able to communicate. Clinical engineering leads who cannot take an infusion pump offline. Plant IT managers who measure downtime in dollars per minute. Infrastructure teams securing workloads and AI agents as their environments change. They read closely. They can spot a vendor who has not done the homework in about two paragraphs.
Elisity delivers identity-based microsegmentation, using identity and risk context for users, devices, workloads and AI agents to enforce least-privilege access through supported infrastructure. That helps organizations contain lateral movement without re-architecting their networks.
You would be our content function. You own the editorial calendar, blog, email, social and the writing behind announcements, with quarterly themes that hold it together. You own website copy, sales presentations and YouTube, including how we explain identity-based microsegmentation and Zero Trust to each audience. As the product moves, you keep that language and those assets current.
There are 102 published assets today. Most deserve a second and third life they are not getting. We want someone who builds a production system with AI inside it, so the calendar ships every week and the library keeps earning, rather than someone who writes faster until they burn out.
We care more about range and judgment than years of experience. If you can do most of this well and are the kind of person who figures out the rest, apply.
You are the content team. You get a freelance budget, a channel partner program to support, subject matter experts who will actually talk to you, and a lot of latitude.
What You Will Own
• The editorial calendar. Quarterly content themes tied to campaign and product priorities, then the weekly execution against them: blog, email, organic social, and the writing behind PR and announcements. You set the cadence and you hold it.
• Website content and messaging. Product and solution pages, vertical landing pages, and how we explain identity, least-privilege access and microsegmentation to each audience. You partner with product marketing on positioning and you write the version that ships.
• Social and YouTube. Running our social channels as channels, not as a dumping ground for blog links. Owning the YouTube channel end to end: what gets made, how it is packaged, and whether anyone watches it.
• Sales presentations. The decks the team actually presents with, kept current, on-message, and built for the room they are used in.
• Pipeline content. Assets built for named account plays, nurture tracks, paid, and sales development sequences, measured on sourced and influenced pipeline rather than publication count.
• The AI content infrastructure. Brand voice files, persona and ICP definitions, prompt libraries, and the quality gates that keep output on voice. Documented well enough that a freelancer or a product marketer can use it without you in the room.
• Data-led decisions. Reading Profound, Google Search Console and Google Analytics to work out what is landing, what is not, and what to make next, then changing the plan when the data says so.
• Repurposing at scale. One customer story becomes a vertical solution brief, three blog posts, a one-pager for sales, a nurture sequence, a short video and eight social posts. This is how the calendar gets fed.
• Channel partner content. Co-brandable enablement and campaign material for resellers, VARs, distributors and systems integrators: the assets a partner uses to sell Elisity into their own accounts.
• Answer engine visibility. Getting Elisity cited when a security leader asks ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity how to control access across users, devices, workloads and AI agents, and tracking whether that is working.
• Voice and claim accuracy. You set the standard for what sounds like Elisity. You work with product marketing and subject matter experts to ground claims in supported capabilities and customer evidence, and to explain the roadmap accurately.
What Success Looks Like
The first six months, as we would measure them.
• 30 days: Editorial calendar published through the next quarter, with themes agreed. Content audit complete: what is current, what has drifted, what is dead. Voice files and persona docs updated. Baseline pulled from Search Console, Analytics and Profound.
• 90 days: Calendar shipping on cadence across blog, email and social. Documented AI production workflow running. Sales deck refreshed. First data-led change to the plan made and explained.
• 180 days: Content-sourced pipeline reported with a target. Two verticals have a full-funnel content set. Priority website pages rewritten. YouTube running to a schedule. Freelance bench producing on your system.
What We Are Looking For
We are flexible on years. If you can do most of the list below well, and you are the kind of person who learns the rest fast, we want to talk.
• Experience in B2B content marketing, ideally cybersecurity, infrastructure or another technically demanding category. Roughly 3 to 6 years is the shape we expect, but we will happily read a shorter history with stronger work behind it.
• Has personally owned an editorial calendar across blog, email and social, and held it, including the unglamorous weeks.
• Writes website copy as comfortably as blog posts, and can work with product marketing on messaging without waiting to be handed a brief.
• Hands-on production experience with Claude, ChatGPT or equivalent, specifically building repeatable workflows rather than one-off prompting. Show us a system you built.
• Comfortable in the numbers: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and AI-visibility tools such as Profound. You should be able to look at performance data and change the plan, not just report it.
• Working knowledge of search and answer engine optimization: schema and structured data, and how AI answer engines pick what to cite.
• Evidence you can explain identity-based microsegmentation, least-privilege access and AI agent security to CISOs, infrastructure teams and clinical or industrial specialists.
• Comfortable being the whole content function: prioritizing solo and directing freelancers and subject matter experts.
• A portfolio showing the same source material adapted for different audiences and formats.
Nice to Have
• Experience with enterprise network security, workload security or AI agent security. Healthcare, medical device, OT or industrial security experience is also useful.
• Video: scripting, editing, and templates, optimizations and general maintenance for YouTube.
• Building sales decks that a rep will actually present rather than rebuild.
• Channel marketing experience: content a reseller or systems integrator will put their logo on.
• HubSpot, Salesforce, and web CMS fluency.
• Press or analyst relations exposure.
• You already use AI tools daily and have opinions about which ones are overrated.

Team Lead — Dataplane Engineering (Python / Go)
Location: Poland or India
You’ll lead a newly formed engineering team inside our dataplane organization. Its mandate is to extend what our segmentation engine can discover and enforce — new environments, new enforcement points, new integrations — while our core dataplane team keeps hardening the network segmentation our customers run today. The engine is distributed edge software — a Python core with Go sidecars — that runs as an on-prem virtual appliance and integrates with network switches and third-party security services.
You are the first hire on this team, and you set its culture. This is a player-coach role: you own delivery, you run intake with product management, you hire and grow the engineers who join you, and you still write production code. You will be paired with an in-house dataplane domain expert for onboarding — deep networking expertise is welcome but not required. What is required is that you have led engineers before and shipped software they built.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and grow a small engineering team: hire, mentor, set the quality bar, and give the hard feedback that keeps it there
• Own delivery end to end — from product ask to GA in production customer networks
• Run intake with product managers: turn ambiguous requests into a groomed, prioritized backlog with explicit priority tiers, and surface collisions early instead of absorbing them
• Stay hands-on: design and write production Python and Go alongside your team
• Partner with the core dataplane team and the cloud backend teams on boundaries and API contracts
• Take features from lab to GA: conformance testing, failure handling, rollout safety in environments we don’t control
What We’re Looking For
• You have led a software engineering team — as a team lead, tech lead, or engineering manager who still codes — and shipped production software through it
• You have hired, onboarded, and mentored engineers, and you can describe a hiring decision you got right and one you got wrong
• Strong hands-on Python and/or Go; you write production code today and review your team’s
• Production ownership: you operate and debug what your team ships, and you build the tests and telemetry that make change safe
• You work directly with product management on scope and priority and can say no with a reason
• A high quality bar — you would rather ship less than ship badly
Nice to Have
• Networking fundamentals: L3/L4, flows and connection tracking, how firewalls and segmentation behave
• Breadth across infrastructure platforms beyond the network — virtualization, public cloud, Kubernetes — and their APIs and access models
• Working Java: the edge engine is Python and Go, but the cloud-side services it registers with and reports to are Java, and the strongest leads here take a feature end to end across both
• Prior work at a security or networking vendor, or shipping software that runs inside customer-controlled environments
• Having built a team from its first hire
Your First 90 Days
• The team’s charter, intake path with product management, and priority tiers agreed with your director
• A groomed, prioritized backlog for your team’s first mandate, with the first feature running in a customer-style lab
• A working map of the engine’s internals — you know where your team’s subsystems begin and end
• A hiring and onboarding plan for the engineers who will join you
How We Work
Small senior team, high trust, low ceremony. Our engineering culture prizes ownership (you run what you build), rigor (evidence over opinion), and patience (durable systems over quick hacks).

Back End Engineer
Location: EU-Based, fully remote | Type: Contract B2B
We’re looking for a Back-End Engineer to design, build, and operate the services that power Elisity’s microsegmentation platform. You’ll work across our core backend - Java services, Kafka-based event streaming, and PostgreSQL data stores - building reliable, scalable systems that turn device intelligence and flow data into real-time policy decisions. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on system design, data correctness, and production reliability.
What you’ll do
• Design and build backend services in Java that ingest, process, and serve device-identity and network-flow data at scale.
• Own event-driven pipelines on Kafka - model topics, partitioning, ordering, and delivery guarantees so data flows reliably between services.
• Design and evolve PostgreSQL schemas for high-throughput, query-heavy workloads, and tune for performance, correctness, and safe migrations.
• Build and maintain APIs that other services and the product surface consume, with clear contracts and versioning.
• Make services production-ready: instrumentation, metrics, alerting, and the SLOs you’ll stand behind.
• Diagnose and resolve performance, scaling, and reliability issues across the data plane.
• Partner with architects, product owners, and other engineers to turn feature intent into well-scoped, buildable work.
• Contribute to code review, technical design discussions, and engineering standards.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong backend engineering experience building production services in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (or comparable streaming/messaging systems) - you understand topics, partitions, consumer groups, and delivery semantics.
• Solid PostgreSQL skills - schema design, indexing, query optimization, and safe migrations under load.
• A track record of building scalable, reliable distributed systems and reasoning about failure modes.
• Comfort owning services end to end, including observability and on-call-grade reliability.
• Clear communication and the ability to collaborate across a remote engineering team.
Nice to Have
• Experience in network security, device identity, or microsegmentation — or an adjacent security/networking domain.
• Experience with cloud-delivered, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with analytics or data-plane workloads, and large-scale data processing.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
• 100% remote with flexibility and trust.
• High-impact role in a fast-growing scaleup environment.
• Modern, cutting-edge tech stack with real room to experiment.
• Strong ownership and influence over backend and system-design decisions.
• Supportive, collaborative team that values learning and initiative.

Full Stack AI Engineer
Location: EU-Based, fully remote | Type: Contract B2B
We're looking for an engineer who combines solid full-stack fundamentals with fluency in modern AI tooling. You'll own features end-to-end — from backend services through integrations to polished UI — using agentic developer tools to dramatically accelerate delivery and quality.
What You'll Do
• Design and ship full-stack features: Java services on the backend, Kafka for event streaming, Postgres for data, React on the frontend, Playwright for QA.
• Use Claude Code (and similar agents) to automate your daily dev workflow.
• Take ownership of functionality, monitoring and UX.
• Collaborate closely with product to ship iteratively and learn fast.
What We're Looking For
• Real, daily use of Claude Code (or comparable agentic tooling) as a core part of how you work.
• A sharp eye for UX and attention to detail on the frontend.
• A generalist mindset: you'd rather own a feature across the whole stack than specialize in one layer.
Nice to Have
• A track record of automating away your own toil.
• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot or equivalent) and React.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka and Postgres — data modeling, query tuning, event handling.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
• 100% remote with flexibility and trust.
• High-impact role in a fast-growing scaleup environment.
• Modern, cutting-edge tech stack with real room to experiment.
• Strong ownership and influence over frontend decisions.• Supportive, collaborative team that values learning and initiative.
Recruitment Process
• HR/Recruiter intro call
• Manager interview
• Team interview/meeting
• Technical interview/assignment
• Decision!

Engineering Product Owner
Location: EU-Based, fully remote | Type: Contract B2B
We're looking for Engineering Product Owner — a deep domain and technical product/design owner inside the engineering organisation. It is a design / R&D-track role decoupled from day-to-day delivery, it is not a people-management role.
EPO plays a key role in Product Management architecture, translates intent into buildable, prioritized epics, owns feature intent; advises on feasibility, engineering backlog & roadmap, enforces ticket rigor, co-publishes one joint roadmap, owns the product/design questions, partners on system design, scale-testing, datastore choice, prioritizes challenges and tradeoffs and owns final product-content arbitration.
The person selected for this role is the engineering-side product owner who partners with — and is held to account by — Product Management for what to build, owns the backlog/roadmap/design discovery for how it's shaped, and defers system architecture to the architect and final product-content arbitration to Product Management.
What You'll Do
- Define the metric you'll stand behind. Decide the customer-facing classification-quality metric — which population, which confidence threshold, which categories — and close the loop on the strongest real-world signal you have: what operators accept and reject. Today's quality numbers aren't yet measured against the true target population; making the metric defendable is the precondition for every downstream bet.
- Sequence the roadmap. Turn the competing classification engines and the reporting/compliance backlog into one prioritized plan, per device population and per customer segment.
- Own the device taxonomy as product. What the categories are, when one is added or removed, and how it scales as the classification approaches multiply.
- Set assistant product strategy. Which questions it must answer well, which capabilities matter most, and the cost-vs-quality envelope of the underlying models.
- Own the reporting & compliance roadmap. Which dashboards and compliance reports ship next, their delivery model, and the snapshot SLA you'll commit to customers.
- Police the Reporting/Insights boundary and keep report generation out of the chat path where it doesn't belong.
- Own the engineering backlog and the single joint Product + Engineering roadmap. Groom it, drive PM-originated feature intent into buildable epics, and enforce backlog rigor at ticket creation.
- Make the reliability-vs-feature calls. Prioritize the classification and snapshot reliability cliffs against new features — defer the how to the architect, but own the whether and when.
- Define the SLOs for both services and decide what instrumentation work to fund, since most of these SLIs are not yet instrumented.
What We're Looking For
- Deep domain. Network security, device identity, or microsegmentation — or an adjacent security/networking background that maps cleanly onto device intelligence and flow data.
- Technically credible enough to challenge an architect. You can read the code, reason about LLM/ML classification and an analytics data plane, and pressure-test a datastore decision — without trying to be the architect.
- Product judgment under ambiguity. You can define a defendable metric where no clean ground truth exists, sequence competing R&D bets, and say no.
- Backlog and roadmap discipline. You run a tight backlog, hold ticket quality at the source, and can co-own a single joint roadmap with a separate PM org.
- Comfortable in a design/R&D track. You drive feature design and prototypes and stay out of standup/troubleshooting ops; you don't need a reporting line of direct reports to have impact.
Nice to Have
- Prior scale at a security or networking vendor; shipping LLM / agentic features in a real product.
- experience taking compliance or audit reporting through analyst evaluations.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- 100% remote with flexibility and trust.
- High-impact role in a fast-growing scaleup environment.
- Modern, cutting-edge tech stack with real room to experiment.
- Strong ownership and influence over frontend decisions.
- Supportive, collaborative team that values learning and initiative.
